Outside 1 Council House, Hoffleet Stow
Reported via mobile in the Problem at LCC roadworks category anonymously at 14:01, Sunday 3 May 2026
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2890340.
There's a few issues...
Highway (A17) floods as grading on verge is wrong and water doesn't make it to the drain. As lorries go past - it splashes the water over the brow of the verge. This causes our driveway to flood.
Tarmac verge (highways area) is badly deteriorated. It is very bumpy going on and off the driveway onto the A17 and often causes wheelspinning.
The speed of the road traffic outside the property is also an issue as it is very difficult to get out most of the time.

The head engineer doing the roadworks on the A17 outside the property has said it does need to be replaced due to the deterioration and that the grading (slope) of the tarmac verge has not been done at the correct fall so the water from the main road comes into my driveway and floods it almost every time it rains(and has done for over a year).
