• Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

  Following inspection, the defects identified are located outside of the adopted highway and are therefore not maintainable at public expense by the County Council.

  Please find attached photographs from the site inspection together with an extract from the Highway Liability Register confirming that the area in question falls outside of the adopted highway.

  Any repairs within this area would be the responsibility of the landowner or occupier. Thank you for reporting this matter.
