Eastwood Road, even number house side of road
Reported via desktop in the Trip hazard/uneven surface category anonymously at 16:12, Wednesday 6 May 2026
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2890699.
The pathway on the even number side of Eastwood Road from the Coop to Priory Road roundabout is in very poor state with lots of holes, loose tarmac and trip hazards. I have seen people with wheeled mobility aids struggle to push them on the uneven surface. The other side of the road is also in need of repair but not all of it. I believe the pathway on Freiston Road from the Coop towards Boston has been resurfaced but Eastwood Road has not.

We're sending you this message to let you know that we've assessed the footway condition and at this time it does not require urgent repair. However we have identified this location for a larger scale improvement scheme. At this stage we are unable to give specific dates for this or definitely commit to the scheme because we prioritise these schemes based on condition compared with the rest of the County footway network and the resources available to us each year. We will continue to monitor this location as part of our routine inspections of the highway in the meantime. Thank you for reporting this matter.
State changed to: No further action
