On the road outside 23 and 25 Langton Hill, Horncastle

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2891237.
The road surface has detreated considerably and a pothole is now prominent. This is the result of water which in the past was bubbling up from under the road surface a problem which you have rectified and thank you for that. The pothole is causing considerable noise issues especially from 05.00 onwards when large lorries hit the pothole causing their suspension to knock and is so loud, we are awakened by it. The vibration transmitted by this through to the house can be often be felt inside the property. Rectification when you are able to attend to this issue will be very much appreciated.

Thank you for investigating this situation and for your conclusions after investigation. The real issue is the noise generated by lorries hitting this pothole and the sleep depravation this is causing. My wife in particular is suffering from this and is distress by it. Can I please ask that you look at this matter again? I don't expect you to resurface the road but the pothole would take no time at all to fix. I could do it myself with some quick setting cement in the early hours of the morning but you probably would prefer me not to.
