Some years ago we were informed that Cambridge Crescent would be resurfaced - it never happened. When a builder built the new houses on Cambridge Crescent we were told he would have to widen the road - he didnt - he was never made to. When the drains were cleared some years ago we were told by the operatives that he would report the broken drain as it needed replacing - I raised this again only weeks ago - you said it didnt need it. The road, especially at the far end, is in such an appalling state that a lady went over and fell heavily on her knee a few days ago - I have photos should you wish to see them - I have told her she should report the council. It has too many levels so there is no consistent height, it has clearly been resurfaced or filled in, in the past but I am talking over 17 years ago and they used a rubbish tarmac because there are different tarmacs showing and its crumbling and we are fed up with it all spreading across our driveways. We have purchased some tarmac and tried to fill in the gutter area where it had badly lifted as it was a trip hazard because the council wont to it but the whole road needs resurfacing once and for all but certainly the end needs it most. I will go to Look North if nothing gets done about this as its causing injury and my mother is 77 and its right outside our pathway. If she is injured because of this there will be hell to pay. You are spending money resurfacing the road from Kirmond Le Mire to Bully Hill top which does NOT need doing - it is no where near as bad as other roads like the road from the Clickem Inn to the A18 which is in a bad way. Please do something before its too late.
