The manhole cover and the road around it is sinking. Each time a large vehicle drives over it it makes a loud noise which can be heard inside our house. Given that this is a rural area we get a lot of large/heavy farm traffic all day and into the night it is getting worse. To get to our drive way we have to avoid it. Also it is a major hazard to cyclists. This road seams to attract a lot of cycle clubs who race through the village. If one hits the manhole cover there could be a very serious accident.
