Pavement just down from 6 sedgebrook road

Reported via mobile in the Trip hazard/uneven surface category by Kate Griffin at 16:56, Tuesday 2 June 2026

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2893434.

You have just closed ref 2891959

I am sorry but very much disagree with your decision . Has someone physically inspected this ? I now attach photos the grass is growing up through lumpy and broken tarmac this stretch of pavement is used daily by elderly residents of allington gardens off peach lane. We have witness a lady fall and another lady who daily struggles trying to push a walking aid that just does not move on this surface . it is not acceptable to leave it in this condition as is a huge trip hazard for the elderly as well as being very unsightly and over grown. We have also witnessed people having difficulty pushing wheelchairs and push chairs/ baby prams. I would appreciate a further review as closing this report is not acceptable many thanks

  • We're sending you this message to let you know that a Highways Officer attended this site on 02/06/2026 and the current defects do not meet our intervention levels as per Our Highways Infrastructure Asset Management Plan, which can be found on our website. However we have identified this location for a larger scale improvement scheme. At this stage we are unable to give specific dates for this or definitely commit to the scheme because we prioritise these schemes based on condition compared with the rest of the County footway network and the resources available to us each year. We will continue to monitor this location as part of our routine inspections of the highway in the meantime. Thank you for reporting this matter.

State changed to: No further action
