Water has not drained away after rainfall. I've just been hit by a tidal wave as a car went through it. This problem has been reported many times now and never seems to be addressed. If we have more rainfall this evening it will be over the pavement too. It's around 50 foot long already.

Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report because whilst a number of drainage surveys have been carried out in the area over the last few years along with excavation work to repair a pipe collapse identified by our contractor on Parkside, these works remain inconclusive as to the exact reason for the flooding experienced on Greenfields. Because of this, resource is being sought to bring in a specialist drainage contractor to fully investigate the highway drainage system on Parkside, Greenfields, Westway and Eastway as well as parts of Sudbrooke Road and Mill Hill. We are currently unable to indicate when this work will take place. Thank you for reporting this matter.
