Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2893463.
Large amount of gravel on road ?10m long, 50cm wide Hit gravel yesterday whilst on road bike after coming round bend which resulted in coming off my bike and hitting my head/face on gravel. Also have lacerations to arms and leg, resulted in A&E visit, CT head and referral to maxillofacial at HRI. Potential permanent damage to teeth and facial deformity as a result. Please remove gravel immediately to prevent further accidents

We are sorry to hear of your recent accident. Following your report, we have attended site and recognise that there is some gravel, tree materials and other debris at this location. However, Lincolnshire County Council Highways are not responsible for keeping the highway surface swept and free of debris - this is a service provided by East Lindsey District Council. We have therefore passed on the information from our site visit to East Lindsey District Council asking with the request that a sweeper attend site at their earliest availability.
