There are a number of pot holes on the road in front of our property and on the corner approaching the house but in particular directly in front of our drive. We did have a visit from someone in a council vehicle back in February and we explained that when we have heavy rain the potholes cause the water to flood over into our drive, garage and our property. They marked all of the areas in yellow paint and said they would be back within 80 days to mend all of the pot holes, raise the height of the curbing to our drive by approx 2cm to hold the water back from our property and also make adjustments to the camber of the road to help it to drain towards the ditch on the opposite side of the road. We had heavy rain shortly after and all of the markings washed off. The pot holes also present a risk to cyclists who come round the corner unaware of the pot holes and before long there is likely to be an accident.
