Public footpath between Church Street and Broughton Road

Reported via desktop in the Obstruction (Road/Pavement) category anonymously at 18:38, Wednesday 3 June 2026

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2893618.

Parts of the footpath are not accessible due to overgrown weeds (including nettles) covering the tarmac path and at head height there are shrubs such as holly in your face making pedestrian access impossible. This footpath has not been attended to in years and needs urgent attention please.

  • Please do not CLOSE this job and pass it back without taking full responsibility for checking LCC footpath yourselves. Please carry out the necessary clearance of the overgrown weeds/shrubbery as it is impassible in parts. It needs a strimmer/hedge cutter just to clear the lower and face height overgrown shrubsw.
