  • We are not taking immediate action with this report as there is no standing water present over more than half carriageway width 24 hours after rainfall has surpassed. Furthermore, the drains in the area are on a biennial cleansing programme for routine cleansing maintenance. No further works required at this time. Thank you for reporting this matter.

  • So can you tell me the dates of the two most recent cleanses?

    I believe this drain has likely been blocked for much more than a year, so this sounds like a fob off response.

    If this is Biennial I suspect the contractor should be able to evidence the works being carried out?
