Outside 19 the cresecent
Reported via mobile in the Blocked drain category anonymously at 18:06, Monday 22 June 2026
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2896091.
During heavy or prolonged rainfall, the road floods because the drains cannot cope with the volume of water, which backs up through the drain outside the house and spreads along the road, at times reaching close to two properties. The water does clear once the rain stops, but the situation during severe weather is concerning. To be clear, it has never been a risk of flooding and the properties have never flooded. However, the surface water on the road appears to have worsened in recent years. We were assured this issue had been resolved, but it is still occurring. I would appreciate an update on what has been done to address it and what further action will be taken. Thank you.
