Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2896633.

As reported before there are 70 potholes , your response was they have been checked and nothing will happen until 2027 This is appalling

"Nearly drove into a vehicle head on because she was on the wrong side of the road. (Beech Road actually) The lady stopped and apologised and blamed the ever increasing size of the potholes. It’s becoming ridiculous and yesterday an elderly gentleman crossing the was zig zagging with his mobility scooter trying to avoid them. Been reported but nothing done". Some filling in is needed before there is an accident.

  • Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

  • Thankyou for your message telling me that the potholes on Beech Road are fixed. I am sorry but I have to disagree. Seven holes have been fixed and that needed two separate visits !!! A 10% fix!!! so that still leaves 90 % still to fill. I cannot believe how inefficient the highways dept. seem to be.. Why cannot all the potholes be fixed on a single visit?? Some of the potholes have yellow markings which suggest that they may well be on a schedule to be fixed?? However around the corner near the bus stop and Linden Avenue there are many more needing attention and no yellow markings. Roy Bellhouse
