Hi, I would like to report an issue regarding the pavement outside 66 Norfolk Street, where overgrown trees and hedges from a private property are obstructing the public footpath. The vegetation has grown so far over the pavement that there is very little space left for pedestrians to pass safely. Parents with pushchairs, wheelchair users, and other pedestrians are often forced to step into the road to get around the obstruction, which poses a serious safety risk due to passing traffic. The situation becomes even more difficult when vehicles are parked outside the property. At these times, it is virtually impossible to get through safely, leaving pedestrians with no option but to walk on the road. This is especially concerning during school hours, when many children use this route and are required to walk on the carriageway because the pavement is blocked. I would be grateful if the Council could inspect the location and arrange for the vegetation to be cut back so that the pavement is fully accessible and safe for public use. Thank you for your time and attention. I look forward to seeing this issue resolved.
