Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2897564.

Today 6/7/26 one of the work machines while passing our property has sprayed hydrolic oil over 5 cars a caravan and our motorhome which are all in our drive. My grandaughter spoke with one of the men who gave her a can of somthing to clean it this didnt work they did say would bring more in the morning. The caravan and the roof of the motorhome are made of a plastic and when trying to clean the caraven it is leaving spots. I can not get at the front of my motorhome to clean the overcab. I also dont see why we should have to clean the mess that the workman have made to our vehicles providing a few cans of spay is not good enough. Think someone with athority should come and see and devise a plan to sort it all.

  • Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

  • The contractors have today started to clean the vehicles they had a problem getting the oil off the G.R.P parts of the caravan and our motorhome but are coming back with some different cleaner and have said they will get it sorted. I am happy that they are doing everything they can to resolve the problem and have had an apology from the foreman. I will update again when everything is sorted.
