Impossible to safely see oncoming traffic

The first picture shows my car at the junction and the lack of visibility. The second picture is taken from halfway out towards the middle of the road and the third picture is taken from the middle of the road showing that even out this far the visibility is totally unsafe for a car coming towards you doing 60mph

  • Are you able to be more specific about what your enforcement action is asking to be done. I only ask as this is a route I use weekly and my wife uses three times a week and I am concerned that in her small car this is an accident waiting to happen.

  • I have just read that Billingborough Road / Mareham Lane is going to be the official diversion for the seven weeks that the A15 at Folkingham is being resurfaced. This means there will be a substantial amount of new additional traffic approaching this junction from Folkingham unable to be seen until the last minute by an equal amount of new additional traffic coming down Mareham Lane going the other way. This will exacerbate the existing problem and as it is unlikely to be fixed in the short term I would suggest some form of traffic control is required to avoid any accidents.
