Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

An officer has inspected the hedge and in this instance we don’t intend on taking immediate action. Because our current resources are extremely limited we have to focus our enforcement on matters of a significant danger or nuisance to road users. We can, however, continue to monitor the site during our routine inspections and will review the situation Thank you for reporting this matter.

That’s ridiculous. Lorries passing along the road cross the centre white line. Can you not compel the land owner to cut their hedges?
