Traffic lights at the 4-way crossroad junction outside Lincolnshire Co-op Branston
Reported via mobile in the Timing issue category anonymously at 09:38, Monday 3 August 2026
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2900456.
Induction loop / vehicle sensor sensitivity issue. The sensors on both approaches (from Washingborough and from the Branston Potatoes on Station Road/Moor Lane) fail to detect motorcycles, leaving the lights stuck on red until a car arrives to trigger them. I am aware of this issue for at least the last 3 months, may of existed for longer than that.

From Silver Street towards Station Rd. works on a timer by the looks of it but from Station Rd. towards Silver Street, it still doesn't turn green. The more annoying part is when we're stuck there overnight, almost no cars are coming past 10PM in that direction.
