Entrance to roundabout (from Thorpe On The Hill)

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2902221.

Road unclear as to whether the entrance to roundabout is 2 lanes or 1. I believe this was amended to one lane - often caused confusion and poor judgement. Requires either 2 lane marking or hashed lines either side to enforce one lane.

  • Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

  • We’re sending you this message to let you know that back in 2018 from google images this was a 2 lane entry but if this has been modified it would have been National Highways who would have done this. They are responsible for the entrances onto this roundabout. It is not Lincolnshire County Council liability at that point. If you need clarification, then please contact them direct.
