The grass verge from Red House Farm to the Village Hall on Side Street, Allington has been worn away by cars parking. It is easy to see where the verge was originally as the tarmac finishes there. Outside Red House Farm, there is a long, wide and deep pothole which fills with water after rain.

Air Contamination. Polluted air coming from William Hare Ltd, possibly containing high levels of paint, steel and iron oxide. The levels of contamination appear to making vehicles start to rust within a few weeks. This level of contamination should be monitored and acted upon before residents and visitors of Alexander Road and Mowbeck Way show signs of possible Iron oxide inhalation An assessment of health effects and long-term occupational exposure to the dust in the area needs to be done.
